Accessing the Matplotlib Objects

matplotlib figure

When autofig completes a draw (either with autofig.draw() or passing show=True to a plot or mesh call), a matplotlib figure instance object is returned. You can then act on this with anything supported by your version of matplotlib (see the matplotlib figure API docs)
